1 – having a background in CS

Can a mechanical engineer do masters in civil

It is difficult to get accepted into civil engineering Master without going back and taking some undergrad Civil Engineering courses. As a mechanical engineer you would lack a group of civil engineering foundations that you should complete including:

 If you are interested early you need to sacrifice a little bit of time. You have to go back to school and take these subjects. but you still have a brilliant chance to get accepted without studying and going back to school.

 To be accepted in aerospace engineering you would be required to complete some entrance exams,  not all graduate aerospace engineering programs require that but just for some schools. In general, You still have a chance to apply for graduate programs without passing any entrance exams.

As a mechanical engineer, you would have a higher chance To work in aeronautical engineering. Most companies hire mechanical engineers to design aeronautics systems, like plane bodies, hydraulics systems, pumps, etc.
